Owners Accommodation ~ Le Pigeonnier Access is via a covered patio with doors leading to the kitchen (on the right)and the hallway. La Forge is attached to the main property via a large larder which can be locked whilst La Forge is being rented or left open to extend the owners accommodation.
The kitchen is approximately 5x5 metres. There is a door leading out onto the covered terrace from here. The kitchen has fitted units, the floors are of limestone. There is a wood burning stove and a built in dish washer. A door leads into a large room (5x2metres approx) which we use as a larder and food/wine store. A door leads from here into La Forge which is locked during the letting season. At the other end of the kitchen is a door leading to the hallway and wooden stairs leading up to the lounge.
Wooden stairs lead up to the lounge which has large windows on two sides and french style doors which lead on to a small terrace with steps leading down into the garden. The lounge is approximately 5.4x5 metres. The room has original oak beams with access to the loft space and two central heating radiators. There are ample electric wall sockets and a telephone point here. Three wooden steps lead from here up to the master bedroom.
The bedroom is 5.4x4.5 metres approximately with two huge windows which over look the garden. There is a small window at the other end of the room and a build in wardrobe area. The en-suite bathroom (3.5x3.0 metres approx) was gutted and refitted three years ago and has a bath with shower attachment and curtain, wash basin and toilet. There are also fitted cupboards and a large cupboard for storing towels etc.
Downstairs again we have a hallway (5x5 metres approx)which has been partially shelved to house my video library. This has a doorway out to the garden. There is also a large butler type sink and a shower. The office (4.5x3 metres approx)has french style doors leading out onto the back terrace and garden and also a terrace. There is a toilet with wash basin here. The second double bedroom (5x3metres approx) also has french style doors onto the terrace and another door leading out to the front garden area.
